Black Sox Make Sunday in DMBA Hosted Tournament
The Rookie Selects beat Listowel in the round robin, and lost a nailbiter (14-12) to the eventual champions, the Tillsonburg Otters, this weekend in Thorndale.
The rookie division had 8 teams. Although the Sox went 1-3 on the weekend, there were many bright moments, including a couple of double plays! In the four games, MVP honours were handed out to Henderson, Richardson, Mercer, and Stevens. The boys have two games this week, including St Marys on Tuesday in Thorndale, and a visit to Blenheim on Thursday.
