Black Sox Rebound with Win over St Marys Tier 1
On a cool night, the bats were hot, as the the Rookie Selects hosted the St Marys Minor Rookie Tier 1 team in Thorndale.
A strange 1st inning which saw three Sox batters strike out was followed up with offense throughout the lineup. Wright would get his first home run of the season. Henderson, Stevens, Arnold, and Johnson each crossed the plate 4 times. Fine defensive plays were added by Johnson, Richardson, and Mercer. Strom and Stiles contributed with super scoops at first base. The Sox travel to Blenheim on Thursday to face the Bees!
