Diamondback Minor Mosquitos continue their great start of 2016
The Diamondbacks continued their winning ways with a sold victory vs the Strathroy Royals.
The Diamondbacks hosted the visiting Royals this past Tuesday where they extended their winning streak to 5 games. The Dback's got a great start from pitcher Zach DosSantos as he pitchered 3 solid innings striking out 4 batters. He was followed by outstanding relief piyching from Sam Willsie who went 2 innings and Matthew Rodenburg closed out the game pitching his 1st inning of the season.
The game saw some good base running by the Dbacks who sprinted out to a lead and never looked backed. Colin Langstaff caught for his first time this season and was outstanding behind the plate throwing out 2 would be base stealers.
Next action, this Friday vs Ajax at the St.Thomas Cardinals Tournament.
