St.Mary's Regional MLB Pitch, Hit and Run Competition
Once again our two Diamondbacks who qualified at our local sectional event made us extremely proud with their showing.

Sam Willise and Zachary DosSantos went and put on a show in St.Mary's at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame Diamond.  The boys who finished 1st and 2nd respectively at our local event accomplished the same feat all over again.  With roughly 20 competitors in their age group the boys managed to out pace everybody finishing 1st and 2nd again while leaving the competitors in their dust.  Both boys finished with scores over 800 while others were in the 500's.

The Event saw Zachary win the Pitching event and finish a close second to Sam for the overall with 808 points while Sam won the Running event and the Overall by edging out his teammate with a score of 828 points.  The difference between these two was 0.2 of a second which is amazing and I am proud as a coach of both their showing.

With this accomplishment they both now have to wait as scores from many events around the province are tabulated and the top 3 scores from around get to go and compete at the Rogers Centre in Toronto with a chance to win and represent at the Major Baseball All Star game in San Diego, California.  Congrats to both Sam and Zach as they represent the Diamondbacks and Dorchester very well.
