Update ~ U14 Tryout schedule
Parents,
I just wanted to update on the tryout dates for the U14 team this season. Because of the lack of availability of the facility and because of hockey, tryouts times are tough to come by. I did send an email to all the parents of players who I heard were intending to tryout to Gage what I could do.
So after going through everything, here is what I have come up with for now. I am scheduling 5 tryouts dates hoping that a minimum of 3 will be made by most, ideally all 5 would be great but I know with March Break in the mix it is tough. There will be a tryout fee of $50 to cover the cost of the field as well as the batting cages we will use for the 5 sessions. It will be $50 regardless of how many you can make as this is the only way we can cover costs. At this point I know of 17 players trying out and that number increase. I have not determined yet how many players I will be taking but more than likely 12.
All tryouts are at Centre Field Sports, 25 Midpark Crescent, London
Try Outs Dates:
Friday March 6th (PA Day) ~ 4pm to 5pm Full Field, 2 Cages #2 & #3 ~ 5-6pm
Tuesday March 10th ~ 4-5pm 1/2 Field, Cage #3 ~ 5-6pm
Tuesday March 17th (March Break) ~ 4-5pm, 1/2 Field, Cage #3 ~ 5-6pm
Thursday March 19th (March Break) ~ 4-5pm, 1/2 Field, Cage #3 ~ 5-6pm
Tuesday March 24th ~ 4-5pm, 1/2 Field, Cage #3 ~ 5-6pm
**Depending on our numbers I may have the ability to increase to a full field or add a cage at any point if I need to. Please do the best you can to let me know your players availability. I know of 3 or 4 who are away with March break so do your best to attend the other 3. If any players need a ride after school to CFS we can make arrangements. I have room for 4 players and I am sure we can figure out more if need be.
These dates may be subject to change with the hockey playoff schedules yet to be determined and the number of players that it may affect. Hopefully this works out for us. I need to have a team made sooner rather than later because our Bantam Select team can not be made until this team is made.
