Diamondbacks vs. Strathroy Royals
The first inning Strathroy put up 3 runs, Diamondbacks fell short only scoring one run. The second inning, Strathroy had two base hits allowing runners on first and second. The next batter hit a line shot up the middle Ryder Morrison made a running snag touched second base and threw the guy out at first to capture a stunning triple play to end the inning.
That sparked the diamondbacks because they went on to score 5 runs the bottom half of that inning. The third inning the boys made some great defensive plays, Brennan scooped a couple at first base, and Griffin played well up the middle and Emerson almost turning the double play with a great backhand touching second base and almost throwing the runner out at first. The boys scored 7 runs in the bottom of the third with some help by Liam, Massimo with a double, and Trace with his first triple of the season. The boys captured their first win of the season 14-3. Great job again guys and lets bring that spark to our next Tuesday game against the Tin-Caps.
