Minor Mosquitos Continue to Show Progress!
The Minor Mosquito Diamondbacks demonstrated some fine skills in their game against the DMBA Mosquito selects on Saturday.
The DMBA Mosquito Select team was superb in their first ever game playing together, as the Minor Mosquito D-Backs challenged them in a fun exhibition on Saturday morning.
Both teams pitched and hit well from start to finish. But it was a few bright spots that really brought a smile to the coaches. The catchers were solid again behind the plate, blocking more balls, and making strong throws.
The D-Backs showed off their first ever PERFECTLY executed bunt coverage, getting the out at first base, thanks to an astute 2nd baseman (Johnson)!
Zeleznik proved that he can really mash the ball, as he drove a triple to left.
Box, Richardson, Arnold, and Zeleznik did their job on the hill as well.
Stevens and Wallace each scored 4 times.
A fun game overall......Ilderton tonight!
