Diamondbacks Win a Nailbiter in Strathroy
It was a superb team effort for the Diamondbacks last night in Strathroy.
It was easy to highlight each player in a full team effort against the Royals on Wednesday in Strathroy.
Just for fun:
Johnson - great catch in foul territory at 3rd
McMillan - super tracking on a deep fly catch in right
Tubman - Got the D-Backs out of a tough situation, inheriting bases loaded on the mound
Stevens - two excellent stretch plays at first and second to record outs
Pettitt - recorded the final put-out to end a late Strathroy rally
Wallace - hit the ball solidly in all four atbats, and scored the 12th and game winning run
Arnold - great starting pitching performance on the mound
Zeleznik - closed out the game on the mound, striking out one, and inducing an infield fly on the final out
Mercer - reached base all four times, and scored twice
This was a very fulfilling game for the coaching staff.
Well done, boys!
Things are coming together nicely as we approach playoffs and the OBA tournament!
