Peewee Select, 2018 (Dorchester Baseball)

Thank you to all players for coming out for tryouts the last week. I was extremely overwhelmed with the number of kids who attended and the enthusiasm and skill everyone displayed. This was not an easy decision whatsoever and it's not something that any coach enjoys. Thank you to all parents who took time out of their busy schedules to allow the kids the opportunity.

This past week a new LDBA Peewee Select League was formed and I am pleased to announce that our team will be a part of this league.  What does this mean for players and parents of this team? 1. Less travel - the league will comprise teams in and around London. 2. Select competition - most of our players have house league experience and the jump to the Southern Counties rep league would have been a challenge to say the least.  Our team should be more competitive playing against other Select teams. Please share this news with any families that may be considering trying out for this team.

Summer Slam - Dorchester June 22nd - 24th

The following tournaments are confirmed for the upcoming season: May 25th - 27th Buck Pringle Select Tournament Orillia, ON July 13th - 15th Southwest Select Tournament London, ON I am currently looking for 1 more local tournament (no guarantee as choices are limited) plus the league playoff weekend is tentatively scheduled for August 24th - 26th (Site TBA).

All tryouts will be at Centrefield Sports.   25 Midpark Cres. London, ON Wednesday, April 25th - 7:30pm to 9:30pm Friday, April 27th - 7pm to 9pm Sunday, April 29th - 5pm to 7pm Players are required to attend at least 2 tryout sessions, but ideally all 3.
