Onto the Semi Finals vs Leaside Leafs
After finishing a perfect 3-0 the Diamondbacks were on to the Semi Finals to face a tough team who won Group "D" the Leaside Leafs.
The game was dominated by the Diamondbacks from start to finish and particularly by starter Colin Langstaff who pitched 6-1/3rd inning, giving up only 1 hit and only two base runners while striking out 10 batters. Closing out the game was Lucas Wilson who shut the door striking out 1. The Leaside team only gave up 4 in the 2nd and 2 and the 3rd and held off the Diamondbacks the rest of the way to make the game interesting. Both Colin and lUcas also lefd the way on offense using their speed to score 4 of the 6 runs.
With the Victory the Diamondbacks move on to the Championship Final vs the Niagara Falls Falcons the 2015 "A" Major Rookie Champions from last year. Should be a battle.
