First Tournament in the Books!
Black Sox enjoyed a fun-filled tournament!
The Sox lost a close one on the Friday night to the Simcoe Giants, 17-13, and then rebounded in the early morning matchup, defeating Wookstock, 20-11. In the third game, that would have decided who went on to play Sunday, the Sox scored often, but not as often as the Waterloo team, falling 24-12.
The boys should be proud of their showing, as one of only two select teams in the tournament!
Hutson and McMillan received MVP honours for their performances in the first and second game, respectively.
But overall, there were highlights for every player, and it was a fun experience!
