DMBA Rookies Capture 3rd!
The Sox were hot in the final, scoring early and often.
After falling 14-13 to the eventual tournament champions (North Toronto), the Sox played the Barrie Red Sox, and could not seem to find their groove, as they fell 12-5. This sent them to the Consolation Final against the home Innisfil Cardinals, where they played marvelously, and had fun doing it. Sparked by countless great defensive plays by Stiles, Arnold, Stevens, Strom, Hutson, Johnson, and Wright (double-play), the offense was unstoppable. Richardson tripled, and Mercer, Henderson, McMillan added multiple power hits, reaching base almost every plate appearance.
The Sox won the game by a large margin, by mercy, to capture the Consolation Championship!
Way to go guys....you had a super weekend!
