The Diamondbacks coming off a disappointing and sluggish loss in their first game back from their holiday break bounced back in a big way!
The Diamondback's welcomed a solid Wyoming Wrangers team to town for a Sunday night affair and looked to Zachary DosSantos to take the ball in this one and he did. Zach led the charge throwing strikes and keeping the solid defense behind him busy. The Diamonds starter managed to pitch a complete game, 5 inning No Hitter shutting out the Wranglers 11-0. Zachary also did not walk a batter and struck out 3, the only base runner allowed was a dropped ball at first which stop the bid for a perfect 15 up, 15 down performance. The Diamondback defense was also outstanding making all the right plays and the Diamondback offense came out strong with goal of winning each inning early and then broke it open in the 4th inning on the way to cruising to the finish line.
The next game up for the Diamondbacks was another home game against the Nationals in Harrietsville.
